I became a lawyer because I wanted to fight for people who couldn't fight for themselves. Almost 30 years later, that's still what gets me out of bed every morning.

I started my legal career in Miami as a Domestic Violence Court Coordinator, working in one of the nation's most innovative domestic violence courts. I trained judges on the evolving law of domestic violence. I spoke to communities about how to recognize abuse and how to get help. I helped found Shalom Bayit, an organization supporting victims of domestic violence. I saw firsthand how the legal system could protect people—and how often it failed them.

Then I became an Assistant Public Defender. I tried cases from misdemeanors to murder. I assisted on death penalty cases. I learned what it means to stand beside someone when their freedom is on the line and fight with everything you have.

In 2002, I opened my own firm in Miami. In 2004, I moved to Atlanta with my family, eventually joining the Fulton County Conflict Defender's Office. In 2007, I founded what is now The Panitch Law Group.

Today, I represent clients in family law, criminal defense, domestic violence cases, and estate planning throughout Metro Atlanta. I've appeared in court thousands of times. I've been selected as a member of the Federal Defender Program, representing clients charged with federal crimes in the Northern District of Georgia. WSB-TV, 11Alive, WSB Radio, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Atlanta News First have trusted me to provide legal analysis hundreds of times.

In 2022, I was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives for District 51. I ran because I believe in service—to my clients, to my community, and to the state of Georgia. Being a legislator gives me a unique perspective on the laws that affect your case, because I help write them.

I've been recognized as a SuperLawyer since 2019 and received the Avvo Client's Choice Award. Hadassah honored me with the Myrtle Wreath Award for my community leadership.

But the recognition that matters most to me comes from my clients. When someone tells me I helped them through the worst time in their life, that fills my cup.

I've lived in this community for over 20 years. My husband and I raised our three children here. This is our home. And when you walk into my office, you're not just a case number. You're a person who deserves to be heard, believed, and fought for.

EXPERIENCE:

I grew up in Orlando, Florida, and I've always been drawn to understanding people—especially young people navigating difficult circumstances.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Family, Youth & Community Science from the University of Florida, graduating Cum Laude with a specialization in Adolescent Psychology. That background shapes everything I do as a family law attorney. When I'm working on a custody case or a child support matter, I'm not just thinking about the legal arguments. I'm thinking about the children at the center of it all—their needs, their emotions, their development.

I earned my law degree from Florida State University College of Law and am licensed to practice in Georgia as a member of the State Bar.

At The Panitch Law Group, I focus on family law, estate planning, and adoption cases. I believe that legal representation should be compassionate—you're going through something incredibly hard, and you deserve an attorney who understands that. But compassion doesn't mean soft. When it's time to fight for your rights and your children's best interests, I fight hard.

When I'm not in the office, I love to cook and bake. I spend as much time as I can with my family and friends—especially my son, who reminds me every day why this work matters.

I've been part of The Panitch Law Group family since March 2013—over 12 years of helping clients navigate some of the most stressful experiences of their lives.

When you call our office, I'm often the first voice you hear. When you have questions about your case, I'm here to help you get answers. When there are documents to file, deadlines to track, and details to manage, I make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

My job is to make sure you feel supported from the moment you walk through our door. I handle client communication, case management, legal document preparation, court filings, and intake coordination. I work closely with Esther and Brittany to ensure every case receives the attention and care it deserves.

I'm a mother of two, and I understand what it means to worry about your family's future. That's why I treat every client's case like it matters—because it does. Your family matters. Your peace of mind matters.
